Castle Engineering was founded in 1956 by Peter Zelisko as a general engineering design and drafting firm. After serving in World War II with the Army Corps of Engineers in Europe, he attended the Illinois Institute of Technology. He soon discovered how businesses were looking for engineering and design solutions to:
